Appearance:  Clean and bright. Appealing soft cherry pink with bright violet hues. Medium-evolving fine and persistent bubbles with abundant beads and dense crown.
Aroma:  Fresh and bright. Wild fruits, particularly strawberry, against a mint background.
Flavour:  Pleasant first taste. Rich and dense with well-combined bubbles. Fresh and fleshy but also complex and light with a strong flavour of wild berries, particularly strawberry.
Finish: Fresh and pleasant. Well-balanced, good structure and well-integrated bubbles. Pleasant medium intensity aftertaste with harmonized aroma and flavour.
Food pairing: Ideal as an aperitif. Goes well with seafood, fish in sauce, rice and vermicelli, cold cuts, white meat and desserts made of delicate crème brûlée and fruit.
Recommendations: Serve in a long champagne glass at 6°C


Agusti Torelló Mata was born into a dynasty of tailors and musicians, but went into the world of cava at a very young age, a world that turned into his profession and his passion. Pioneering, passionate and tireless, he created in 1953 the first wine analysis laboratory in the industry, managed important wineries in the Penedès region and set up his own cava winery in 1959.

Due to his enthusiasm and vision of the viticulture industry, he soon became a reference point in the internationalization of cava. It is in this spirit that he fostered the creation of the Cava Guild, which acknowledged his work by appointing him President of Honour some years ago.
